Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was as wonderful as ours was.  Even though we were really missing family, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We are so grateful that we have Ian and Sara here with us, it helps hide the fact that we are 2500 miles away from home on Holidays and on Sundays when we miss our families the most!!  We are so grateful to both of our parents who were so gracious enough to pitch in together to buy us tickets to come home for Christmas!! Now that thanksgiving is over we are raring to go and can't wait to get on the plane to come home and Jake can't wait to be done with school for an entire month break!  We are so excited to get to see everyone, and we will have plenty of time because we will be home for 3 whole weeks. Yay!!!  Anyways we were also lucky enough to be able to get to see Jake's friend Jonny Kelley, he has been in Dental school at Marquette in Milwaukee Wisconsin and he went on a mission to Tampa Florida so when he found plane tickets for only $120 round trip to Florida he decided to come visit us for Thanksgiving and the boys had a blast staying up late almost everynight playing wii and watching movies.  Ian and Sara also share an apartment with another couple and they came over for Thanksgiving as well.  So we had a pretty full house but it was a ton of fun!

My family has this verrrry great tradition, thanks to my Grandma Hamblin (the best Pie maker), that everyone gets to have there very own pie!  So every one chose there favorite pie's and we ended up with 8 pie's for seven people but boy was it good!!

So when we all were still living at home Jon used to come over when ever I made Peanut Butter Pie so when he came for Thanksgiving he asked if i would make him his very own pie! He was a happy boy!

Play time!

Addi was being a momma's girl the other day, she would just hang on my leg all day and she was driving me up the wall.  Then, my mom reminded me that she used to build me little play houses with sheets for something new and believe it or not those are some of my best memories. So Addi helped me build her a tent so she would have somewhere new to play.  Once we got it built she went and moved in her play food, tea set and Elmo!  She loved it and it gave me some of my own time with out a two year old attached at the knee cap!!

Whoa!

So I know that I post way too many videos of Addi dancing but when we were video taping her we caught the cutest little thing at the end of this video! Watch the very end of this video me and Jake watched it a hundred times over and over and we were laughing so hard!

St. Augustine

So for a quick little trip just an hour and a half out of town, Jake, me, Sarah and Ian took of yesterday to go visit St. Augustine.  It was a pretty cool little town, it is supposed to be the oldest town in the US.  We went to a Fort called the Castillo and then walked around town and saw all the 17th century houses and Chapels and then of course the beaches and the Lighthouse.  It was sure fun to get out of town for a little while to walk around and just sight see.

Halloween

We decided that since we were in Florida Addi was going to be a Flamingo for Halloween, and we found a really cute costume at Marshall's. Addi went to a Halloween story time at the library with her friend Jason. They also got to trick-or-treat around the Library.
We all then went to our ward party for a trunk-or-treat and man our ward takes their trunk-our-treating serious. They went all out with their decorating in their trunks, we were pretty impressed. Addi screamed when we were putting her costume on she wanted nothing to do with it, but when we finally got it on she thought she was pretty hot stuff!
