Family Home Evening

So we try to do our Family Home Evening but Addi gets pretty bored so we decided to let her choose what she wanted to do and all she wanted was us to sit and play blocks with her!

I think that I make a pretty awesome train!! This is pretty amazing that they got that all built before Addi knocked it down. She can't wait to knock down what we would build.
By the way I have a ton of really fun video's of Addi but blogger is having a hard time uploading them so Hopefully soon, sorry Grandma's!!

Happy Birthday, Jake!!

Today was Jake's Birthday and I just wanted to tell him how great he is!  He works so hard and sacrifices so much for us and still finds time to be an awesome dad and husband.  So we decided to spoil him for his birthday, so after we got home from church we made him a special dinner of Steak and Snow crab! Then he opened presents and had Ice Cream Cake and now we are finishing off the day doing his favorite, watching LOTS of Movie's.  He even let Addi choose a movie and this is a picture of the two watching Ratatouille!!  

Home Sweet Home!!

Well a little before we came home from Idaho, we found out that Jake's school didn't start until the 19th when we thought that it started back up on the 12th. So we were so excited to get home and to have a little more time just relaxing at home with Jake before he had to go back to school.

When Jake plays Guitar Hero Addi loves to play the drums and she has some pretty good rhythm for a two year old!

Just hanging out and being lazy, now that is a vacation for dad, and a vacation for me, because I don't have Addi on my heels all day long!!!
Addi couldn't wait to go visit her friend Lucy when we got home, so we took them to the Zoo!!

Addi loves her Aquadoodle, Thanks Amanda!! Except she doesn't care for the water marker that it comes with so the other day I got out a paintbrush and a glass of water, she thought that she was pretty special, so I left her painting and came back a little later and she had gotten bored and was just sitting there drinking the water out of the cup and she turned to me and said "ah good mama"!

Vacation Home

We had a wonderful vacation home for Christmas thanks to both of our parents!!! We were able to go home to Pocatello for three weeks and we got to see just about everyone we could, it was wonderful. We were happy to be back in the warm weather by the time we made it back to Florida, its just to dang cold in Idaho. I don't know how I made it threw the winter when we lived there!!


Addi loves to lick off all of the frosting of her cookies and then she always comes to share the rest of the soggy cookie with me after she made sure get every last bit of Frosting.
