Not too much happening!!

So there isn't too much to report, my mom was just complaining that I hadn't posted anything in a while so these are just some random pictures. I had been complaining because as Addi's hair is growing longer she's starting to lose her curls which I love because it has always made her hair so easy to do, so I was missing her curls so on Sunday I sat down and curled her hair and her dad saw it before I seperated the curls and he thought it was the funniest hair do. He was begging me to not seperate the curls and to let her go to church like it was, so I took pictures instead.
These pictures are just some random pictures that I thought were pretty cute.
Addi is starting to be a good little prayer, sometimes its pretty embarrassing in church because at the end of every prayer she yells "amen" as loud as she can. I'm pretty proud of how good she folds and tucks her arms like she is supposed to.
One morning while I was cleaning I had the music on and doing the dishes and I turned around and Addi was dancing right in front of the T.V. so she could see her reflection and check out and perfect her dance moves.


Also, just a quick update on the Family. Jake is still plugging away at school and in my opinion is trying to fit in way too much. He just started two five hour graduate assistantships, is taking 22 credits and tuturing a fifth grader. He was also nominated by his class mates to run for class president and the election was yesterday and he tied with another kid and so they are running a tie breaker on Monday to see who wins. He also just applied for an internship with Disney which he would love to get because they would let us go to Disney world anytime for free! I keep telling him he is taking on too much but he seems to still be on top and still plugging away. As for me and Addi we get pretty bored and lonely, so anyone who has been wanting to come visit Orlando we would love the company. Plus i've been watching airfare and Southwest is running a deal from Salt Lake to Orlando in October or November for only $130 each way which compared to the regular price of $200 or $250 each way is a pretty good deal!!! That and I hear it's starting to get cool in Idaho! In the dead of winter here it gets down to an alltime low of 65 degrees and that is in the middle of the night. Sounds like a pretty good vacation to take when the snow starts to fly for everyone!

Addi's play date!!

So, my cousin Brianna is living here in Orlando with her fiancee, and she nannies a little girl about the same age as Addisyn, so we decided to schedule a play date for them.  Let me tell you it was a blast!  We took the kids to a splash park, which was dirt cheap for the amount of entertainment it provides.  It was a pretty cool park!  

The two were instant friends, they held hands everywhere they went and when we buckled them in the back seat together they sat and giggled so hard at each other.  
Addi wasn't quite sure about all that spraying water at first, but she soon decided it was a pretty cool place.


We had a few snacks and then the girls went right back out to start on the dry playground!


It was pretty fun to watch Addi get to play with somebody her own age, she has only ever had the attention of her way older or way younger cousins, but she really liked having a friend to play with.  We decided this was going to have to be our regular Saturday outings, both girls were sad to say goodbye.

Swimming

So not a whole lot happening with us, which means we go swimming a lot! We have a swimming pool in our complex and it is right by our apartment, so when Jake goes to school and we are stuck without a car me and Addi pass the time by swimming and going on walks. Addi is starting to become a pretty good swimmer and boy does she like to swim it is her favorite thing to do. I don't mind it to much either!

Downtown Disney

So we were bored on Friday night and it's hard to head out to do stuff because everything here costs money, which we are trying hard to not spend. We had heard from some people in our ward that Disney World has a Downtown Disney that was free to go to and since we can't afford to go to Disney World we decided that this was second best. It was a lot of fun it was mostly just shopping, but even the shoppes were so museum-like everywhere it was a lot of fun to just go walk around for the night. Addi seemed to like it, she is a big fan of Mickey Mouse.


Of all the things there to do and see Addi liked chasing the ducks on the side of the walk ways the best!

They had a huge lego store there that outside of it had Lego statues, everything below was built entirely of legos.
Addi liked the Lego statues of the puppies.




I think that Addi thought she was in heaven when we walked into the Disney Store and they had toys for as far as the eye could see. The second we walked in she started shaking she was so excited!


There was a big circle with a huge sound system for all the kids to run and dance, it was Addi's type of fun, she loved it and amazingly enough didn't get shy.

Dancin, Dancin, Dancin!!!

So Addi and her dad were dancing the other day and I thought that it would be a cute video for the Grandparents (don't worry I left daddy's moves out of it). This is especially for Grandpa Rick, she is after your own heart, she loves to dance to Styx.

Baseball Game!

So we were able to go to a Tampa Bay Rays vs New York Yankees game which the Rays won. It was a lot of fun. Even Addi loved all the excitement and that she got to wear her baseball hat.



Addi loved that she got to clap and yell all she wanted and nobody told her to shush.



This was by the end of the game she was getting bored so I think she was entertaining herself but i'm not quite sure what it is she is doing, but we thought it was pretty cute.

Yay, Another Package!!

We are so lucky, we got two packages in one day. My mom sent Addi some toys because I called her in tears the other day because Addi was being soo bad that I just couldn't handle her so my great mom decided Addi was just bored and needed some new toys so she sent us a package! Thank you so much Mom it's already kept her happy this morning.


She loves the flip phone, she likes to just open and shut it to see the new faces on the phone and I was sad because we had already bathed Addi so she didn't get to play with the toys in the tub, but she played with them just the same outside the tub. Thank so much Mom, we love you!

Thank You for the Package!!!

So, we all have been getting pretty home sick lately. Jake has been super busy with school coming home some evenings at 1:30 in the morning and me and Addi getting pretty bored at home with no car. So when we got a package from Jake's family it was the highlight of our week! Thank you so much Terry and Oma for putting together the package we loved everything, you guys are the best, we love and miss you tons!


Addi just loved her new Dora doll and also her "lolo" (cereal) and mommy loves the new clothes! As soon as she got her new stuff all she wanted to do is sit with her Dora and eat her cereal while watching Dora.
Jake also thanks you so much for his new shirt it fits great and he loves Skittles!
You guys know how much I love new recipes and the seasoning looks so amazing, also I was in dyer need of a new under shirt. Thanks so much for everything!

So lately when I have my ipod out Addi comes to me and says, "ears, pease" and she loves to watch the Strong Bad podcasts on my ipod. I thought it was so cute that I took some pictures for you.
